We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and creative Teaching Assistant to be flexible to support throughout school. To be a Teaching Assistant at Adswood Primary you must be enthusiastic, versatile, patient, flexible, supportive of both children and adults and able to show initiative as well as demonstrate team work. Teaching support will take place in the classroom environment as well as in small groups’ and one to one settings

The successful candidate will:
• Have experience of working in a school context and have relevant experience of the current curriculum
• Be able to demonstrate experience in working successfully with pupils in order to raise their attainment
• Be able to demonstrate the ability to deliver a range of intervention strategies
• Be highly motivated and positive with the ability to engage pupils and parents
• Be approachable on both a personal and professional level
• Be able to work under own initiative as well as part of a team.
